Q: Why is the MAH different to the original manufacturer’s battery?
A: MAH (Milli-amp hours) defines how long the battery will last before it needs recharging. The higher the MAH the longer the battery will last. But some sellers have been known to fake their MAHs to increase their sales.
Q: How can I make certain my batteries are fully charged?
A: All battery chargers should have some kind of indicator to alert you when the battery is fully charged. Usually the charger’s LED will change colour. Our chargers have an automatic safety cut off which will stop the battery from over charging.
Q: My battery is not charging. What should I do?
A: First of all check that you definitely have the correct battery for your camera. The easiest way to do this is to type the name of your camera onto our search bar and check the results. If you have the correct battery and its still not charging the issue could either be with your charger or the battery itself. If your camera charges via USB try charging
A: On some Sony cameras you may get this message when you turn the camera on after inserting the battery 'for use with compatible battery only'. To fix this issue follow the procedure below.
First fully charge the battery. Then press a piece of aluminium foil over all three contacts at the same time to short the middle contact.
Then put the battery back into the camera and turn the camera back on. It make take a few tries but it does work and doesn't damage your camera
